Position Overview

Concept Resources is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the management of our café operations, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests in the café, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.

2. Assist in the daily operations of the café under the guidance of the Visitor Services Supervisor, including serving customers and maintaining cleanliness.

3. Perform various tasks including:

  • Preparing and serving beverages and meals.
  • Upholding cleanliness standards in both kitchen and dining areas.
  • Contributing to food safety standards and maintaining compliance.
  • Setting up and clearing dining areas as needed.
  • Handling cash transactions and operating the cash register.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping of financial transactions in accordance with company policies.

4. Adhere to uniform standards and maintain high levels of personal hygiene and presentation.

5. Engage in personal development and contribute to team learning initiatives.

6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to enhance visitor experiences.

7. Foster a positive work environment focused on exceptional customer service and continuous improvement.

8. Participate in special projects and take on additional responsibilities as required.

Must have the right to work and provide two references.
