About the Role

Keltbray Infrastructure Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional commercial results and ensuring the profitability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Assist the Commercial Manager in providing support to the contract delivery team to ensure the profitability, cash management, cost control, and accurate reporting of all schemes.
  • Commercial Reporting: Manage the preparation and submission of commercial reports to stakeholders, including project managers, commercial managers, and senior management.
  • Cost Control: Oversee the management of costs, including the identification and mitigation of potential cost risks, and the development of cost-saving initiatives.
  • Contract Management: Manage the full sub-contract cycle, including the negotiation and administration of contracts, and the management of change control processes.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage disputes and negotiate settlements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to junior quantity surveyors and other team members to ensure the development of commercial skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a contracting commercial department.
  • Qualifications: Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent in a relevant field, such as construction management or quantity surveying.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Excel, and working knowledge of construction industry conditions of contract.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
