**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead our Policy Research Programme, working closely with the Department of Health and Social Care's Science, Research, and Evidence Directorate to maximize the impact of commissioned research on national policy.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Oversee the NIHR policy research portfolio, including Policy Research Units, the Call-off Analytical Facility, and Evidence Review Facilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive evidence-informed policy making.
• Work with the DHSC's Science, Research, and Evidence Directorate to translate research findings into actionable policy recommendations.
**Requirements**
We are looking for someone with significant experience in evidence-informed policy making, ideally through commissioning and translating evidence into government policy. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading high-profile research initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive policy impact.
