Exciting Opportunity for a Programme Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Director to join our team at Understanding Recruitment NFP. As a Programme Director, you will play a key role in the strategic delivery of programmes throughout our digital transformation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Programme Director with experience in delivering large IT programmes and a passion for working in the public sector. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, including the delivery of new digital services and the migration to the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing multi-million pound programmes and a deep understanding of the public sector. You will be a natural leader, able to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the delivery of large IT programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement effective project management plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and suppliers.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that all programmes are delivered with minimal disruption and maximum value.

What We Offer:
