Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Audiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audiologist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult Audiology, with a proven track record of leadership and clinical expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Hearing Management Services: Direct and oversee the hearing management services for adults, ensuring high-quality care and effective patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and Mentor Junior Staff: Provide guidance, support, and leadership to junior staff members, helping them to develop their clinical skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to Clinical Audit and Research: Participate in clinical audit and research activities, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Ensure Smooth Service Operation: Oversee the smooth operation of adult hearing services, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are met.
  • Support Team Members and Students: Provide support and guidance to team members and students, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage Departmental Resources: Oversee the management of departmental resources, including stock and Health and Safety compliance.

Requirements:

Education and Training:

  • BSc in Audiology
  • Registered with RCCP or HCPC

Experience:

  • Substantial NHS experience
  • Experience with patients with additional needs
  • Experience in testing children's hearing

Desirable:

  • MSc in Audiology
  • BAA Higher training scheme
  • Experience in electrophysiology testing
  • Experience in microsuction
