The role of an Associate Claims Examiner involves working collaboratively within a team, guided by a Team Manager, to perform essential technical evaluations and procedures related to the risks being assessed. This ensures that established market service level agreements (SLAs) concerning turnaround times and quality standards are consistently met.
All tasks undertaken must align with the agreed-upon service levels for both quality and efficiency.
Comprehensive training will be provided for all necessary insurance documentation and systems relevant to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute technical evaluations on insurance documents to confirm their accuracy, identifying any discrepancies or errors. This may involve utilizing specific IT systems with some supervision as needed. Communicate with clients and brokers to address inquiries and resolve issues related to the processing of claims. Manage personal workload effectively. Enter relevant details into the database to initiate settlements or updates. Generate precise reports related to the work being processed. Contribute to innovation and process enhancement initiatives. Review and validate insurance documentation.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficient in computer applications, particularly Outlook and MS Office. Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in work.
