Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our thriving team as Head of Private Client. As a key member of our Private Client Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of fee earners and support staff, managing a dynamic caseload, and driving business growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 5 fee earners and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
- Manage a dynamic caseload of Private Client work, including Wills, Probate, and Estates, and oversee the resolution of complex cases.
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to expand the Private Client Department, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the development of the firm's overall strategy.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure the department's continued success and growth.
Requirements:
- Senior Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive/FCILEx with upwards of 7 years PQE, ideally with managerial experience.
- A client following or contacts in the Sussex area would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
