In light of ongoing expansion and investment, we are looking to hire several new Manufacturing Process Technicians, who will have the chance to become part of a dynamic and innovative environment, utilizing cutting-edge machinery and tools.
Compensation: £15.34 per hour (including shift premiums)
Shift Pattern: 2 weeks of day shifts followed by 2 weeks of night shifts (12-hour shifts), working 4 days in week 1 and 3 days in week 2, including alternating weekends.
Role Responsibilities
Quality Assurance:
Examine finished goods for quality and compliance with customer requirements.
Conduct routine testing on samples to verify adherence to quality benchmarks.
Record and communicate any quality concerns to the Production Supervisor.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow all safety regulations and protocols diligently.
Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
Engage in safety training and contribute to a secure working atmosphere.
Production Documentation:
Keep precise production logs, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any encountered issues.
Relay production information to supervisors and assist in evaluating production efficiency.
Process Enhancement:
Propose and execute enhancements to production workflows and processes.
Take part in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Workplace Organization:
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the production area.
Confirm that all tools and materials are properly stored.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to meet production targets.
Communicate with supervisors and other departments to address production challenges.
Training and Development:
Engage in training sessions to remain informed about new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
