Café and Chef Manager

We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Sodexo Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and efficient planning, cooking, preparation, and service of all meals to our clients' satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in catering management, with experience of managing a team and budgets. They will be able to develop individual effectiveness through leadership, motivation, communication, coaching, and training. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and cook meals to the company's standard and to the client's satisfaction.
- Manage and train line staff, carrying out performance reviews and providing coaching as necessary.
- Control and discipline staff in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the unit to required standards.
- Ensure maximum security of the kitchen, store, office, safe, and monies.
- NVQ chef qualification or equivalent.
- Food Safety qualifications.
- Experience of catering management, managing a team, and budgets.
- Ability to develop individual effectiveness through leadership, motivation, communication, coaching, and training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels.
