Classroom Educator Needed for a Specialized Educational Institution
Engage Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Educator to join a specialized educational institution focused on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Instructing a small group of students primarily diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), while also accommodating learners with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, as well as speech and language impairments.
- Collaborating with 2-3 Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support to each student.
- Reporting directly to the Head of Primary, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A recognized teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in educating students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment.
