Music Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Music Teacher to join our team at an Ofsted Rated "Good" School in Birmingham. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive music lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, and working closely with the Director of Music to develop and implement the music curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach music to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Develop and implement the music curriculum in collaboration with the Director of Music
  • Work closely with other members of the music department to plan and deliver music lessons
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the music department and the school as a whole

Requirements:

  • QTS or PGCE in Music or a related subject
  • Experience of teaching music in a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
