Music Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Music Lecturer to join our team at Reed Further Education. As a Music Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students in further education settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach music-related subjects to students in further education settings
  • Develop and deliver engaging music lessons and programs
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop music curriculum and programs
  • Contribute to the development of music-related resources and materials
Requirements:
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education)
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
