About the Role

We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our Post Transaction Team, specializing in pension risk transfer and scheme wind-up. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition of pension schemes to buy-out and wind-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage the transition process, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their advisers, and insurers.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, identifying potential risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with the Pension Risk Transfer team to ensure a comprehensive end-to-end process.
  • Contribute to the strategy of the wider team, attending networking events and contributing to new business tenders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a pensions consulting environment or with a bulk annuity provider.
  • Proven experience of insurer post-transaction processes and wider aspects of pension scheme wind-ups.
  • Excellent UK pensions technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements around wind-ups.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop detailed project plans and drive forward completion of tasks against timescales.
  • Capable of strategic thinking and suggesting solutions, while also recognizing potential risks and issues.
