Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Band 6 rotation in the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated caseload with complex needs, using evidence-based principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to professional and trust standards.
  • Supervise students on practice placements and provide leadership to junior/support staff.
  • Participate in rotational schemes, including acute and community settings, and contribute to the development of clinical pathways and protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate clinical experience working as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist.
  • Evidence of participation in in-service training and personal CPD.
  • HCPC registration and RCOT/BAOT membership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a caseload, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
