Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Reach PLC. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our print production facilities, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity of our equipment and facilities
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce waste
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve maintenance efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment performance
Requirements
- Level 3 (NVQ) engineering qualification in an appropriate electrical or mechanical discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG sector
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
