Job Introduction

We're seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to join our team during this exciting phase of growth. As part of our Efficiency Delivery programme, you'll be responsible for driving performance and supporting our busy team managers.

This is a crucial role that will help us improve the way we carry out our work. You'll be responsible for ensuring your teams adhere to Health and Safety regulations, efficient scheduling of work activities, collaboration with other teams to manage workload, and driving team productivity and individual performance management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure your teams adhere to Health and Safety regulations

  • Maintaining a full schedule of work for the team
  • Ensure our people have the appropriate training and work authorisations to support a safe and productive working environment
  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer complaints

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an excellent communicator with a proven track record of managing teams. You'll need to be experienced in being an escalation point for both the team and external customers.

  • The ability to develop a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation, Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002 and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
  • Organised, with strong problem solving and the ability to think and plan ahead
  • Good communicator with the presence to build strong relationships with our customers
  • An understanding of and the ability to effectively manage performance
  • Knowledge of craft roles or the ability/willingness to quickly develop your understanding of these roles and the work activities in your team
  • A NRSWA qualification or understanding of NRSWA legislation is desirable but full training can be provided

This role is subject to a satisfactory Barring Service check, depending on the role different levels of screening and vetting are required. Some roles require a triannual check.
