Job Title: Bureau Manager

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspection Manager to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the inspection teams, working closely with the Operations Director to support the business's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a team of structural inspectors and surveyors to effectively plan resources and meet or exceed project deadlines and budgets.
  2. Maintain close liaison with clients throughout all phases of projects.
  3. Lead and advise inspection teams.
  4. Appoint and manage specialist sub-contractors.
  5. Prepare and review written reports, BCI pro-formas, CAD drawings, and schedules of defects.
  6. Undertake complex, one-off projects.
  7. Broad experience in planning and conducting detailed structural inspections (ideally of bridges, culverts, and retaining walls) and investigations.
  8. Ability to speak and write in clear and concise English.
  9. Proficient in using IT, especially MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  10. Ability to use AutoCAD.
  11. Ability to produce well-written, professional inspection reports.
  12. Willing and able to work outdoors, including in waterways and confined spaces.
  13. Comfortable working within confined spaces.
  14. Full UK driver's licence.
  15. Willingness to travel for work and stay away from home occasionally.
