About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifting Inspection Engineer to join our team at Lloyds British Group Ltd. As a leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, we have been providing specialist testing, inspection, maintenance, certification and training services for the lifting services industry for over 200 years.

As a Lifting Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe use of lifting equipment and ensuring that our clients' legal obligations are fully met. You will work closely with our team of highly skilled and qualified Inspection Engineers to provide a reliable, responsive and first-class service across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with lifting equipment
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and testing plans to ensure the safe use of lifting equipment
  • Collaborate with our team to provide a comprehensive service to our clients
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on lifting equipment safety and compliance
Requirements
  • Experience working in the lifting equipment industry
  • LEEA certification
  • Entry level Engineering, Mechanics NVQ/City & Guilds desirable but not essential
  • Experience with working in a testing environment
  • Have an eye for detail; good problem-solving ability and a practical approach
  • Good communicator with the ability to analyse and impart knowledge
  • Full training will be given but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
  • Full UK driver's licence
