As a Lifting Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of lifting equipment, providing expert advice and guidance to clients, and contributing to the development of the company's lifting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to identify potential hazards and defects
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and testing programs to ensure equipment is safe to use
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on lifting equipment safety and best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve lifting services and processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes
Requirements
- Experience working in the lifting equipment industry, with a strong understanding of lifting equipment safety and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full training will be provided, but experience of working within an engineering environment would be desirable
