Experienced Painter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Pineapple Resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality finishes on a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and exterior facades.
Key Responsibilities:- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as necessary.
- Paint Application: Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Surface Variety: Work on a range of surfaces, including drywall, plaster, wood, concrete, and metal.
- Touch-ups and Repairs: Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain the integrity of the work.
- Site Protection: Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and other protective measures.
- Cleanliness: Clean tools, equipment, and work areas at the end of each day.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other tradespeople on the construction site to ensure smooth workflow.
- Experience: Proven experience as a construction painter, with a portfolio of completed work.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and tools.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle physical work, including standing, climbing, and lifting.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Safety Procedures: Familiarity with safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
- Certification: Certification in painting or relevant trade qualifications.
- Project Variety: Experience with both residential and commercial painting projects.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
