Job Title: Construction Painter
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality finishes on a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and exterior facades. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all painting tasks are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as necessary.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
* Ensure that all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
* Work on a range of surfaces, including drywall, plaster, wood, concrete, and metal.
* Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to maintain the integrity of the work.
* Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and other protective measures.
* Clean tools, equipment, and work areas at the end of each day.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on the construction site to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a construction painter, with a portfolio of completed work.
* Strong knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and tools.
* Ability to handle physical work, including standing, climbing, and lifting.
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Familiarity with safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
* Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
* Certification in painting or relevant trade qualifications.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with both residential and commercial painting projects.
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
