Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Technician to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of technical support and installations in our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) datacenter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and installations in a 24x7 site coverage environment
  • Responsible for break-fix tasks, including hardware, network, cabling, and rack deployments
  • Site planning, problem escalation, and managing installations
  • Prioritize ticketing queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues
  • Collaborate with other technical teams and non-technical teams to deliver technical solutions
  • Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware
  • Work within a ticket-based environment and adhere to internal policies and service level agreements
Requirements
  • 7x24-hours commitment to participate in the regional standby rotation program and shift
  • Ability to reach the datacenter site within 60 minutes
  • Strong knowledge of fiber and copper cabling
  • Ability to work in a mission critical operations environment
