Job Title: Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting, management accounts preparation, and day-to-day financial operations of a newly created business within the Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss, and balance sheet.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns.
  • Record and post the day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts.
  • Support with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any account discrepancies.
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining supplier records.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and reconcile inventory accounts.
  • Support with inventory audits and manage adjustments.
  • Support with internal and external audits.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Identify ways that processes and reporting can be improved and drive these improvements.
Requirements:
  • Must have experience of working in finance.
  • Will have some experience of working in management accounts.
  • Will ideally be studying an accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA, or ACCA) but my client will consider qualified by experience candidates.
What We Offer:
  • £30,000 - £35,000.

  • This is a wholly office-based role.
