Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trainee Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team at Huntress. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Process and code invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • General Finance Administration: Perform various finance-related tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Invoice Queries: Respond to and resolve invoice queries from suppliers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Posting and Approval: Post invoices and obtain approval as necessary for sign-off.
  • Payment Processing: Ensure that suppliers are paid in accordance with company policies and procedures to avoid any inaccuracies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounts assistant or accounts administrator role is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, good customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
