About the Role
Our client, a leader in electric vehicle infrastructure, is dedicated to facilitating the shift towards sustainable mobility. Their vision is to establish a premier charging network across the Netherlands, England, and Germany, featuring accessible and spacious charging stations strategically located in business parks.
We are seeking a Deployment Coordinator who will collaborate closely with the Acquisitions and Project Development teams to manage the practical implementation phases of various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Planning: Collaborate with designers and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) to oversee site layouts, coordinate the preparation of construction and electrical schematics, and liaise with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Independent DNOs (IDNOs) to finalize NERS designs.
- DNO Coordination: Manage the application process for appropriate power connections and oversee the DNO procedures from initiation to completion.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective strategies while maintaining high standards of project quality.
- Compliance Assurance: Guarantee adherence to relevant electrical and construction regulations for EV installation projects by staying informed about regulatory changes and advancements.
- Supplier Relations: Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the efficient delivery of services and equipment.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions to the project, implementing Health and Safety protocols that enhance our operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of the technologies related to EV charging installations, alongside familiarity with pertinent regulations and industry standards.
- Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, coupled with strong communication skills.
- A background or formal education in construction or electrical engineering is advantageous.
