Aquatic Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Swimming Instructor to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach swimming lessons to groups and individuals, following established lesson plans and guidelines.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents/guardians.
• Supervise customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas, ensuring their safety and discipline.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and improve teaching skills.

Requirements:

• Level 2 swimming teaching qualification (training can be provided for the right applicant).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Salary: Up to £17.91 per hour.
