Fetal Sonographer Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Fetal Sonographer to establish and lead our sonographer-led Fetal Medicine service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures, auditing and managing complex ultrasound equipment, and liaising with commercial and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SOPs for ultrasound scanning and equipment management
  • Manage and maintain high-quality ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Liaise with commercial and marketing teams to promote our services and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Network with GP practices and other healthcare professionals to establish strong partnerships
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in Obs and Gynae ultrasound
  • Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent
  • Evidence of academic achievement at a Master's degree level
  • Post Graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
  • Fully competent in all Fetal Ultrasound scanning, including transvaginal, Doppler, and Nuchal translucency
  • Registered Radiographer with HCPC or Registered Midwife with NMC registration (desired but not essential)
