We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at d r newitt recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing all supply chain activities across the business, forming close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Transformation of Supply Chain Operations: Develop and implement strategies to transform the supply chain operation in line with or ahead of the demands of the business.
  • Inventory Management: Control all stocks (raw materials, finished goods, and factored goods) through effective management of the Coldstores and stocks within, including stock held at 3rd Party Warehouse.
  • Raw Materials Management: Manage all raw materials to meet production and sales plans.
  • Import and Logistics Management: Manage the efficiency and costs of import of goods using 3rd party transport company.
  • 3rd Party Logistics Management: Manage the efficiency and costs of 3rd party logistics, including storage and transport, aiming to reduce errors and maintain stock integrity.
  • System Management: Set up, manage, and own the stock control system, production planning system, and all associated reporting systems.
  • Stock Integrity: Carry out regular stock checks with the team to maintain stock integrity and investigate discrepancies.
  • Warehouse and Goods-in Operations: Support warehouse and goods-in operations where required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and production planning systems.
