Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a key member of our squad, you will be responsible for leading the development of our software solutions and working closely with our engineers to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of software solutions, ensuring they meet the required standards and are delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, and test software applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them to grow and develop their skills.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and ensure that software solutions meet the needs of our customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in JavaScript technologies.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular.
  • Strong understanding of data management, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to advocate for ideas and consider others' perspectives.
  • Focus on user-centered design principles, with a commitment to usability and UX.
  • Adherence to clean coding practices, including readability, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
