Our client, a leading FinTech company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Lead to join its team of experienced engineers.

This role is ideal for a motivated and autonomous individual who thrives in a hybrid work environment, with a balance of office and remote work. The location offers easy access to major cities in the East Midlands region.

The Senior Software Development Lead will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the development of full-stack applications using JavaScript technologies, including Node.JS, Vue.JS, NestJS, and TypeScript. Experience with AWS is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software engineers in the development of production-ready systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in JavaScript technologies and related frameworks
  • Ensure adherence to clean coding practices, testing, and code reviews
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Participate in the development of technical roadmaps and strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development and leadership
  • Strong technical expertise in JavaScript technologies and related frameworks
  • Experience with full-stack development and cloud-based technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to navigate complex systems and understand their interactions
  • Experience with industry-standard software development practices
