Housing Litigation Lawyer Opportunity

We are partnering with a reputable Legal Firm to recruit a Housing Litigation Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Local Government and be able to attend Court or the office in South London on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake all aspects of Housing Litigation, focusing on unauthorised occupation, possession claims, trespass, rent arrears, injunctions, and homelessness applications.
  • Manage a full caseload of Housing Law and housing management advisory work through to completion.
  • Represent the Council at the Law Courts, Tribunals, and meetings as required.
  • Support the City Solicitor and Legal team with regard to the conduct of legal casework.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a Local Government setting.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Flexible working days.
