The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality echocardiography services to patients at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a highly specialized cardiac physiologist, you will work closely with the cardiology department to perform echocardiograms and assist with stress and transoesophageal echocardiograms.
Main Responsibilities- Perform and report echocardiograms to a high standard, meeting BSE guidelines and departmental local standards.
- Work alongside the lead cardiac physiologist to provide structured training to junior cardiac physiologists and doctors.
- Maintain own BSE accreditation by ensuring appropriate CPD is up to date.
- Provide an efficient running of the technical service by prioritizing daily workloads.
- Maintain standards of technical competency in the provision of non-invasive, technical cardiac procedures.
- Remain up to date with current evidence in echocardiography.
- Ensure accurate recording of echo studies in our reporting system and patient electronic record.
- Ensure smooth running of outpatient echo clinics.
- Jointly oversee the day-to-day running of the echo service.
- Support inpatient ward echo service.

Person Specification- BSc Clinical Physiology (or equivalent Science subject)
- BSE Level 2 TTE accreditation
