Head of Estimating

Anglian Building Products, the commercial contracting division of Anglian Home Improvements, is seeking a highly skilled Head of Estimating to lead our team and drive our projects to success.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional in the field of estimating to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or engineering, strong leadership skills, and expertise in cost estimation, bid preparation, and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain estimation methodologies, tools, and databases.
  • Analyse project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and value engineering to optimize project costs.
  • Engage with clients to discuss and clarify project requirements and negotiate costs and terms.
  • Contribute to the company's strategic planning and business development efforts.
