Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Hatched Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established commercial service provider to find an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias to join their team based in Slough.

The ideal candidate will have a proven machine maintenance track record and a solid Mechanical bias. They will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance tasks, conducting repairs and upkeep of plant machinery and equipment, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks as per site plan agreements.
  • Conduct repairs and upkeep of plant machinery and equipment to swiftly identify faults and minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Ensure all tasks adhere to prevailing health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned multi-skilled engineer (Mechanical bias) possessing comprehensive mechanical expertise across a production facility.
  • Ideally 4 years hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in reactive maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with Three Phase equipment, inverters, sensors, and adept at troubleshooting control panel faults.
  • Skilled in PLC control systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in pneumatics, pumps, and valves.
  • Proactive and initiative-driven work ethic.
  • Willingness to work Night Shifts on a 5 on and 3 off rota (20:30-05:00).
