Role Summary:
As a pivotal member of our Technology Operations team, you will deliver high-level technical support and guidance.

Your main focus will be on ensuring seamless technical service delivery, with an emphasis on infrastructure, servers, systems, and communications.

In this capacity, you will oversee team activities, advocate for best practices, and guarantee that service objectives are consistently achieved.

Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and resolving intricate and critical issues, as well as analyzing recurring problems to develop sustainable solutions.

Moreover, you will lend your knowledge to technical teams and projects, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical challenges to uphold service standards, collaborating with users, staff, the Service Desk, and vendors as necessary.

2. Provide 3rd Line technical assistance to operational and project teams, offering your expertise to address issues and guide best practices.

3. Execute complex configurations, installations, and reconfigurations of servers, storage, and communication platforms for routine changes and projects.

4. Recommend and implement standards for configurations, tools, and products.

5. Define and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including standards, security protocols, procedures, and configuration details.

6. Utilize management software and analytical tools to gather system statistics, model performance, and generate reports, including proposals for enhancements and capacity planning.


Essential Qualifications and Experience:


1. Proven leadership experience and staff development within a technical/support team environment, with a history of effective direction.

2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create detailed reports and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.

3. Strong interpersonal skills to convey technical information to staff at all levels.

4. Outstanding report and documentation skills, capable of presenting information in a clear and logical manner.

5. Demonstrated planning and organizational skills to meet project and business requirements.

6. Expert technical experience across a broad range of Server, Storage, and Networking technologies at a 3rd Line Support level.

7. In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices, with a solid understanding of MOD standards and accreditation processes.

8. Extensive experience with Windows Servers, virtualization technologies, enterprise storage solutions, and other infrastructure technologies in large enterprise settings.

9. Experience in supporting Cloud technologies.
