Job Summary

The Standard Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, personnel, and property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular security patrols around the premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a calm and professional manner, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement, food safety, and fire department agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Develop and deliver effective training to maintain consistent service and safety standards across the team.
  • Manage and coordinate complex emergency situations, ensuring a swift and effective response.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a Security Officer or Security Supervisor, ideally gained in a 4/5 star hotel environment.
  • Control room and door management experience at a busy venue would be advantageous.
  • Flexible approach to work hours, as you will work 4 days on, 4 days off, with a combination of night shifts and day shifts.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
  • Experience across a range of management disciplines, in particular Fire, Health & Safety, and Food safety.
  • SIA Licence, Personal Licence, First Aid, CCTV control, Fire Marshal, and a minimum of level 2 in Health & Safety.
