The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is dedicated to the recovery of nature and fostering connections between people and the natural world.

We are in search of a Reserves Officer (North Hampshire) to contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee habitat management across five Ministry of Defence sites within the northeast region of the county, which are part of the Thames Basin Heaths and the significant Greywell Moors.
- Manage a diverse range of ecosystems, including heathland and fen habitats, ensuring they are maintained or restored to optimal conditions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the MoD, Natural England, the Environment Agency, external graziers, and our internal grazing team.
- Implement Countryside Stewardship Scheme objectives and other work plan goals, coordinating with staff, volunteers, contractors, and project partners.
- Maintain reserve infrastructure and collect ecological data through surveys and collaboration with partners.
- Support the overall effectiveness of the northern estate and its personnel while fostering a cooperative relationship with the grazing team.
