Position Summary: We are looking for a Lead Quantity Surveyor to enhance our commercial team, focusing on the management of financial aspects within our water framework projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commercial management of projects valued between £5m and £20m, specifically in the areas of clean and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Engage in civil and MEICA projects aimed at upgrading and enhancing the resilience of existing infrastructure.
  • Direct the commercial resources, including personnel and finances, to optimize the anticipated gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the authorization and submission of project variations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Enhance cash flow management through diligent control, measurement (including quality assurance), and valuation of work, alongside the invoicing of clients and timely payment of suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proven experience in managing complex civil engineering projects within the water sector.
