System Design Engineer

GlobalTech Recruitment is seeking an experienced Systems Design Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have a background in whole aircraft systems or other subsystems such as power distribution, avionics, power generation, propulsion, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with System Design and Equipment Design teams to evolve system architecture in a model-based system development environment.
  • Capture system interface requirements and define them in interface documents like interface data diagrams and system interface documents.
  • Manage requirements via Jira and other traceability tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project progress and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the V-cycle and experience working across the V-cycle.
  • Excellent knowledge of requirements gathering, management, and tracking.
  • Experience in model-based system development environments.
  • Excellent model-based systems engineering experience.
  • Good knowledge of thermal engineering, high voltage, and low voltage electrical design.
  • Good knowledge of safety analysis techniques.
