Job Title: IT and Systems Support Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT and Systems Support Engineer to join our team at Airbus Operations Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our ground support systems software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and correction services for our ground support systems software.
  • Propose and implement new tools and initiatives to enhance investigations, training, procedures, and service performance.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within our ground support software.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data held within our ground support software and provide assurance to the CAMO to maintain the continued airworthiness of the fleet.
  • Provide technical support during coordination meetings with nations/OCCAR and A400M Program to support customer requirements.
  • Provide active support during migration plans for new software versions.
  • Provide the list of new requirements identified during training, safety investigations, gaps process, etc.
  • Perform Reference Data audits and upload information to MDS.

Requirements:

  • Some IT system capabilities, including Excel, Access, XML Spy, SQL, PLSQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of software engineering processes.
  • Knowledge of software development.
  • Ability to work alone and organize yourself in a challenging environment.
  • Background in A/C maintenance software discipline or similar.

Working Conditions:

Due to the nature of the work, it is required that the jobholder be able to provide service in shifts and 'out of office' support as required by contractual obligations.
