Job Summary:

As a Data Management Specialist at Boeing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer logistics data management records. You will work closely with the Field Services engineering team to resolve routine problems regarding data accuracy and data integrity. Your primary responsibility will be to verify customer logistics data management records, which are critical to the continued airworthiness of the C-17 fleet and support the aircraft, regarded as the primary strategic airlifter in Royal Air Force service.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify customer logistics data management records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Work with the Field Services engineering team to resolve routine problems regarding data accuracy and data integrity.
  • Transcribe data into secure and controlled data systems, such as the US Air Force FMxC2 (G081) system, C-17 Standard Flight Data Recorder (ADEMS), and C-17 Engine Optical Quick Access Recorder repositories.
  • Ensure data quality, maintain process records and files, keep accountability records, and make a final disposition of data, records, and files.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, together with good typing and computer skills.
  • Formal training on Microsoft Office applications is highly desirable, as is formal training and experience with logistics data systems.
  • Basic knowledge of information and data retrieval systems.
  • The ability to enter, edit, and retrieve information in database systems.
  • Previous experience working in an office environment where flexibility is essential and prompt responses to ad-hoc customer requests is expected.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral, and have experience working with minimal supervision.
