Job Title: Building and Maintenance Surveyor

White Raven Resourcing Ltd is acting as a recruitment agency for permanent recruitment services. Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of architectural faïence and terracotta for both restoration and new build, delivering their product across the UK, USA, Australia, and UAE with an impressive project portfolio which includes Natural History Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Savoy Hotel, Harrods, and many more.

Our client has developed a reputation for providing outstanding levels of workmanship with a large proportion of work from repeat business clients. As a Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects by providing accurate cost estimates, liaising with the architect/client on their project/proposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for restoration and new build projects.
  2. Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine material requirements/quantities.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers.
  4. Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with both the Contracts Director and Production Team to ensure an effective handover of a project once it becomes live.
Requirements:

You'll be a proven surveyor or estimator with previous experience in the construction/restoration sector, working with main contractors within a similar field such as stonework and cladding. You'll be proficient in estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
