About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice and the Trust's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, documenting accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and carers.
  • Promote positive relationships between staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Conduct, upholding the highest standards of professional practice.
  • Undertake duties on different wards or departments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate personal responsibility for compliance with infection control policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (level 1 or 2) qualification.
  • Willingness to undergo training as necessary.
  • Current knowledge of healthcare standards and professional practice.
  • Awareness of the specialty and its requirements.
