Overview of the Role:
The primary objective of the commercial claims demand and performance team is to deliver precise business and financial metrics along with insightful analysis to claims operational sectors. This role is crucial in reporting claims performance to key stakeholders within the claims domain and across the broader commercial organization.
Your responsibilities will include providing financial guidance, insights, and challenges regarding claims financial performance, focusing on both operational expenses and indemnity expenditure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, evaluate, and interpret data to uncover insights that drive critical business decisions and enhance claims performance.
- Collaborate with the broader claims operational teams, supply chain, and claims finance to identify data trends that narrate the claims performance story.
- Assist the property and motor claims performance insight leads in ensuring that essential metrics are reported across the commercial lines businesses, including both cost and customer-related metrics.
- Provide financial analysis and insights through regular KPI/performance reports and ad-hoc data requests.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Comprehensive accountability for challenging and reporting performance metrics across the commercial claims framework.
- Deliver accurate, insightful, and timely analysis that addresses critical issues, challenges performance, and clarifies the drivers of performance within the commercial lines system.
- Build and maintain relationships with operational commercial claims teams, offering support and constructive challenges.
- Oversee the strategic account broker claims reporting process.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
