We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at MyJobScotland. As a key member of our Financial Services Team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial accounting support and promoting management compliance with financial procedures and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Suitability Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of the financial suitability of licence applicants and suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Year-End Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and subsequent audit, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monthly Control Account Reconciliations: Coordinate and review monthly control account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Return Preparation: Provide support in the preparation of returns, including VAT return and PAYE Settlement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
