Accounts Payable Officer Job Description

Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited involves working with an not-for-profit organisation based in Oldham. This is a 4-month fixed term contract opportunity.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Manage vendor accounts and resolve any issues
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • Assist with month-end closing activities

Requirements:

  • A good knowledge & understanding of the end to end Accounts Payable Process.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel.
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
