Job Summary

As an Unqualified English Teacher, you will focus on providing engaging, supportive, and effective instruction that fosters academic and personal growth. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and deliver English lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of SEMH students.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to help students achieve their learning goals.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of SEMH students.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, is advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and working with SEMH students.
  • A degree in English, Education, or a related field is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to teaching and managing classroom behaviour.
  • Must have DBS (updated service) for the safeguard issue of the learners.
