*Platform Engineer - Fully Remote - £550 - £600 per day*

We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to support a prestigious client in the Software as a Service (SAAS) sector on a rolling contract basis.

This position is ideal for candidates who can start immediately and are eager to work on cutting-edge infrastructure platforms.

The successful candidate will possess a profound understanding of infrastructure automation and will enjoy leveraging code to develop and sustain intricate, high-performance systems.

You should be equally adept at managing cloud environments and physical hardware, with a strong background in the infrastructure domain.

Familiarity with Terraform is a plus, along with a working knowledge of programming languages such as Ruby, Golang, or Python, and a comfort level with technical terms like RFC1918.

Key Skills Required -

  • Proven commercial experience with AWS, particularly in EC2, IAM, and VPC.
  • Extensive expertise in Kubernetes, with the capability to administer, automate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based systems.
  • Solid experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong development skills, proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, Ruby, etc.
  • Experience with major CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub, or similar.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi, with practical experience in automating both AWS and Kubernetes.

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
