We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to support a prestigious client in the SAAS sector on a fully remote basis for a rolling contract.

This position is ideal for individuals who are ready to engage immediately.

The successful candidate will focus on enhancing the client's infrastructure platform, leveraging extensive expertise in automation to design and maintain sophisticated, high-performance systems.

You should possess a strong command of both cloud environments and physical hardware, with a solid foundation in the infrastructure domain.

Familiarity with Terraform is a plus, as is a working knowledge of programming languages such as Ruby, Golang, or Python, and a comfort with technical concepts like RFC1918.

Essential Skills -

  • Proven commercial experience with AWS, particularly in EC2, IAM, and VPC.
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, including administration, automation, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes-based systems.
  • Experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong development skills with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, Ruby, etc.
  • Familiarity with major CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub, or similar.
  • Exposure to monitoring solutions like Prometheus.
  • In-depth knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi, with hands-on experience in automating AWS and Kubernetes environments.

This role is entirely remote, with a diverse team distributed across the UK and internationally. As long as you are a UK citizen or have the right to work in the UK post-Brexit, you may also work from abroad, provided the time difference with the UK does not exceed two hours.
