About the Role

EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist - Support Role. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree in Psychology who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with wide-ranging SEN needs (mild-moderate) in a KS1 and KS2 setting
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement tailored support plans for each child
  • Provide academic and emotional support to ensure students feel comfortable and supported
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Psychology with a 1st Class or 2:1
  • Childcare-related experience, particularly working with SEN students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain patient, resilient, and calm in challenging situations
